Overgeared Hero is a pixel roguelike RPG built around merging backpack gear, building your hero, and auto-battling foes. If you’re looking for codes while working on your build, the current list is a useful place to start. Just keep expectations in check: the available code information doesn’t name specific currencies, items, or other rewards.
There are currently 16 working codes, all marked as new. Their exact contents aren’t specified, so we can’t say how much they’ll help your progress or recommend one reward over another. Several entries do have expiry dates, though, making those worth checking before you put redemption off until your next session.
We check for new codes and changes to the active list regularly. Bookmark this page if you’d rather keep one list handy, and check each entry’s availability before trying it again.
Updated October 2026: The latest list contains 16 working codes with unspecified rewards and no known expired entries. Redeem available codes before their deadlines rather than assuming they’ll stay active.

How to Redeem Codes in Overgeared Hero
The exact redemption menu isn’t confirmed, so use these general steps rather than expecting specific button labels.
- Open the game and look through the main menu, profile options, or settings for a code redemption option.
- If you find a redeem or promo-code field, copy a working code from the table above.
- Paste the code into the field, checking that no extra spaces were included.
- Submit it and read the confirmation message. Follow any on-screen instructions to collect the reward.
Why Your Code Isn’t Working
- Case sensitivity: Match the code’s capitalization exactly. Changing a letter’s case may cause an otherwise valid entry to fail.
- Expiry: Some codes have deadlines. An entry may have expired since the last check.
- Region or level locks: If an error mentions eligibility, check for account, region, or progression requirements. These restrictions aren’t confirmed for the current list.
- Typing versus pasting: Copying helps avoid typos, but check for spaces before or after the code when pasting.
How to Get More Overgeared Hero Codes
Start with official announcements and any social channels linked from the game or its store listing. When official live streams or events take place, check their announcements for codes and redemption deadlines; don’t assume every event includes a giveaway.
